Chinese New Year !!

First of all, happy CNY to all! Finally we have completed a revolution of the chinese zodiac. Another year to look forward to for some people (graduation?), for some a dreadful year (NS?). Regardless of whether you are looking forward or dreading the new year, its still a piggy year. :P

As with all chinese families, its a custom to pay visits to your grandparents, your uncles, aunties ... blah blah. At a gathering like this, everyone must have the experience of getting picked on by your elders (aunties especially). Anything from results to height to weight to face to attitude can nail you. There are some tips that i have read (not necessary tried) to evade their attacks. PLEASE TRY THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK. Most probably at next year's CNY, since this post came too late. LOL

Tip 1: Mr Cool

Invest in a high tech Bluetooth wireless headset and wear them on your ear at all times. When the aunties try to nag, talk gibberish and pretend you are on a call. LOL

Bonus: Your headset's blinking light may distract their attention in controlling their kids as the kids pesters to 'play' with your new found 'toy'.

Tip 2: 双天至尊

CNY is a perfect excuse for gambling. Bring lots of coins (to keep your losses low), keep your stakes small and indulge in gambling with your fellow cousins (who often gets nagged too). The moment some aunties try to approach, shout at the top of your voice together. Words like Huat Lar! Ban Lat! Muahaha.

Bonus: You can make and earn a tidy pile this way, given some luck.

Tip 3: The Gamer

If there are visits to your house, whip out your XBox, PS or laptop and blast away. You will attract their kids' attention and the aunties will be hopelessly busy with keeping them under control. If they have no kids, blast music from your computer. This will force them to talk at the top of their voice if they wanna speak to you. Hehe.

Bonus: There will be a thick atmosphere of CNY in your house if you play CNY songs.

I'm so pissed off man!!

Yesterday I went to Shine Korea.. Finally after so many months!!

When I was walking outside of the shop, I saw this TVXQ Beauty Stick Special thing. I totally went crazy and rushed into the shop.

It comes with cards printed with TVXQ and a disc with their advertisement I suppose. I wanted to buy it from Shine Korea 'cause it is far cheaper than Mise.

Shine Korea sells it at SGD28.80 whereas Mise is around SGD69.90.

However, those on top were actually opened, torn, tattered, badly smashed and damaged.

I interrupted the sales ladies'(an older and younger lady) conversation after much whining at Gwen and Meng to help me to ask the ladies whether they could let me pick from the unopened box which my whining did not work. I whined for at least 5 - 10 minutes. -_-

I plucked up my courage and asked nicely whether they could open one of the boxes below for me to pick one that is not that damaged.

They refused. The older lady told me that I could have a discount from the torn boxes. I told her it was for my collection so I want a really nice box.

This older lady actually seemed like she wanted to let me choose from the unopened box.

This younger lady gave me this stupid attitude. She said "No, these 4 boxes have been reserved."

And she walked away!! HOW RUDE!!

The older lady stayed there, helping me to pick a box that was not that badly damaged. She tried to convince me to pick those on top. My excited mood was already been spoilt by the poor attitude of the younger sales girl. I told the older lady that I will think about it.

She walked back to the counter and the younger lady started talking to her again. Seems like their conversation is far more important than their customers.

That is Customer Service for you at Shine Korea eh?

Their attitude sucks to the core. Even NTUC Fair Price fared far better. At least when you asked the NTUC sales person to open the boxes below to let you pick a better one, they would do it for you willingly.

I'm so pissed!!

My previous Beauty Sticks, I ate them after buying them for like 3 - 5 months for fear of ripping the box and damaging Jae Joong.

TVXQ is something that is much treasured. How can I just pick a damaged box?!

Argh!! Never had I ever dream of encountering this after so many months of abstaining from TVXQ!!

I'm so pissed!!



Someone reserved ALL 4 boxes?! Don't try to kid me. I'm no 3 year old. If someone reserved it, would you leave it outside? You would have kept them in the store room!

What can I say after you tell me it's reserved? I only have 2 choices; Take it or leave it.

I regret to tell you that I'd rather leave it.

I shall take no TVXQ damaged goods nor accept bad customer service.

I'm so irritated with my bro. he likes to scold us with F you. i nv scolded him with vulgarities lo. damn it. dun force me to slap him sia. i hate it when ppl use vulgarities to scold me. we joke abt the vulgarities is ok. but using it to scold me. i get damn pissed.

and this is not about jealousy.

but he keeps on want to talk to my fren, go out with them. this is so irritating! this was the case with chien. now is jo. this is really irritating lo!

he yest went out with jo. he didnt tell anyone. he said he was going to jiale's hse! -_-

and he actually promised my mum to go temple visits yest but he didnt! say want to sleep and scolded me with F you when i ask him to wake! damn promise breaker. he stayed home. play net from morning to evening. go out. come back play again. till late nite.

everyday the same damn routine.

i hate promise breakers.

even if you are a whatever free thinker you call yourself. can you just show some respect for your so called ex religion. even if you dun believe in it no more, can you just go and pray and ask for blessings so that this year can be a better year for you?

even if you dun believe in blessings etc. can you just go to fulfill your promises?!

no matter how much i say, he doesn't care. so why should i care anymore.

and he wont get to read it cuz i did not tell anyone about this blog. ha!

this is so irritating!

cuz! he wants money and he does not want to work for it!

ask him to write resume, dun want. i even got a sample for him to edit from! also dun care right!

expect me to write for him! wait long long i tell you! do i have to help him wipe his backside when he finish his business?!! -_-

guess i aint important in peoples' eyes.

i'm so anti-social.. dunno how to talk to ppl.. cant communicate.. dun go out with people.. fat.. ugly..

some people.. i have always regarded them as best friends.. first thought of them everytime when i want to buy stuff for friends..

but i think they never did regard me as their best friend..

never.. not even once..

you can tell whether this person cares about you through his actions..

i know he does not give a hoot about me.. fine.. i shall distance myself from him.. dun sms him.. dun msn him..

he only msn or sms me when he is bored. what does he treat me as? someone to fall back on when finally there's nobody to talk to? am i always ranked last? i will be thought about last. missed last.

i shall prevent myself from unwanted disappointment..

i will take everything with a pinch of salt.

there's nothing to be sad about.

there's no true friendship.

it is nice to find real friends in one's lifetime.

if i can't find any, i will have to admit it is fate.

it's okay. i do not need people who only befriend me because they take pity on me.

Is it very weird that I return red packet $$ to my parents?

I seriously don't find anything wrong with it.

I wonder why people question this move.

I have been doing this since young. My parents also have to give red packets what. Isn't it reasonable that I return?

There's actually another pictorial book. I really wanted to buy it but I didn't have cash that time. I doubt they still have it since the craze for Hanakimi is ON now.
